The entrance located on the west of Bhaktapur Durbar Square was built in Shah Dynasty. The heritages that were destroyed by earthquake of 1891 BS were all reconstructed and painted white and this gate was one of them.
भक्तपुर दरवार क्षेत्रको पश्चिम भेगमा प्रवेश गर्ने ढोकाको रुपमा खौमा ढोकाको निर्माण शाहकालमा मात्र भएको देखिन्छ । वि.सं. १८९१ को भूकम्पबाट भक्तपुरमा भत्क्या बिग्राया सम्पदाहरु प्राय सेतो पोतेर पुनः निर्माण वा जिर्णोद्धार गर्ने क्रममा खौमा टोलबाट भक्तपुर लायकु पस्ने यो ढोका निर्माण भएको देखिन्छ ।
