The upper part of Bhaktapur Durbar Square is known as Thathu Itachapali which extends throughout the Durbar area. The long public shed that extends east to west in the durbar area is called the public shed that belongs to Hari Shankar Temple. This shed borders general people’s residence from the royal abode.
भक्तपुर दुरवार क्षेत्रमा रहेको लायकु(राजकुल)को ती खण्ड मध्ये माथिल्लो अर्थात थथु इटाचपली हो । जुन लायकुको ठूलो क्षेत्रमा फैलिएको सम्पदा थथु इटाचपली हो । जुन लायकुको पुर्व दक्षिँण तर्फबाट पश्चिम तर्फ लामो सत्तललाई हरिशंकर मन्दिरको सत्तलको रुपमा लिने गर्छ । लामो सत्तल भएको कारण तब्या सत्तलले पनि चिनिन्छ । यो सत्तलले लायकुलाई सर्वसाधारण जनताको घरवार बाट छुट्टयाउने सिमानाको कार्य गरेको छ ।
