Ta Pukhu, well known as Siddha Pokhari is located at Inaaga of Bhaktapur Municipality Ward no. 1. It is extended 574 ft. length (from the east to the west) and 249 ft. width (from the north to the south). According to the Gopal RajVansavali, King Indradev constructed this pond in 239 Nepal Sambat. The Pokhari is encircled by the sturdy walls. Artistic entrance gates are constructed in all four directions. There are stone images of various god and goddesses including Shiva Linga and a small Buddhist Stupa and some ancient scriptures. Jatra occurs here every year on the Yenya Punhee. Likewise, on the sixth day of the Navaratri during Dashain Festival, devotees gather here to mark a mela.
भक्तपुर नगरपालिका वडा नं १ इनागमा अवस्थित तः पुखु (सिद्धपोखरी) भक्तपुर नगरको सबैभन्दा ठुलो पोखरी हो । यो पोखरीको पूर्व–पश्चिम लम्बाइ करिब ५७४ फिट र उत्तर– दक्षिण चौडाइ २४९ फिट छ । नेसं २३९ मा राजा इन्द्रदेवले यो पोखरी बनाउन लगाएको गोपालराज वंशावलीमा उल्लेख छ । यो पोखरी चारैतिर पर्खालले घेरिएको छ । पोखरी भित्र पस्न चारै दिशामा कलात्मक ढोका बनाइएको छ । पोखरी परिसरमा विभिन्न देव–देवीका मूर्ति तथा प्राचीन शिलापत्र पनि छन् । भक्तपुरको प्रसिद्ध येन्या पुन्हिको दिन यो पोखरीमा मेला लाग्ने गर्छ । त्यस्तै दसैंको नवरातअन्तर्गत छैठौँ दिन पनि भक्तजनहरु यहाँ मेला भर्न आउँछन् ।
