King Bhupatindra Mall got the construction of this temple in six months in NS 822. The temple is the tallest tiered style temple in Nepal. The temple of Siddhilaxmi, which was founded by Tantrik process is 108 feet tall. Since it has got five roofs, it was named as five storied temple. The temple is a representative of Nepalese architecture.
यस मन्दिरको निर्माण राजा भूपतिन्द्र मल्लले ने.सं. ८२२ मा ६ महिनाको अवधि भित्र सम्पन गरेको इतिहास जुन मन्दिर नेपालकै सबभन्दा अग्लो छाने शैलीको मन्दिर हो । तान्त्रिक विधिबाट सिद्धिलक्ष्मीको स्थापना गरिएको यो मन्दिरको लम्बाई १०८ फिटको छ ।साथै पाँच तहको छानाको कारण मन्दिरको नामाकरण नै पाँच तल्ले वा न्यातापोल भएको हो । यस मन्दिरले नेपालको वास्तुकलाको उदाहरणको रुपमा लिने गर्छ ।
