The stone image of Narasingh that is placed on the right side of Lion Gate (Singha Dhwakha) is an excellent image from the artistic perspective. While having fixed the stone images of Hanuman on the left and Narasingha on the right sides of the main entrance of the palace, King Bhupatidra Malla got it fixed here. The depiction Narasingha sacrificing Hiranyakashyapu by this idol is one of the fascinating in Durbar area.
भक्तपुर दरवार क्षेत्रको मध्यभागमा रहेको सिहंध्वाखा दरवारको दायां तर्फ रहेको विशाल नरसिंहको मूर्ति कलाकारिताको दृष्टिकोणले अति महत्वपूर्ण छ । बडेमाको यो मूर्तिको स्थापना भक्तपुरका प्रभावशाली राजा भूपतिन्द्र मल्लले दरवार बनाई ढोकाको दायाँ बायाँं हनुमान र नृसिंहको मूर्ति स्थापना गर्ने क्रममा यो नृसिंहको मूर्ति स्थापना गरेको हो । जुन यसै मूर्तिको पाठपिठको अभिलेखबाट थाहा हुन्छ । हिरण्यकश्यपुलाई बध गरिएको नृसिंहको यो मूर्ति भक्तपुर दरवार क्षेत्रका अति आकर्षण मूर्ति मध्ये एक हो ।
