This baha was built by King Ranajeet Malla, the last Malla King of Bhaktapur. Among the seven Bahas that he built for his sons, this baha is located at the shortest distance from his palace. In the later years, this baha was sold and as a personal property, a huge change from its original appearance in the internal of this baha. The exterior outlook that consists of artistic wooden windows, other artistic wooden components of the building, the courtyard, well, spout, Nasa dyo, etc. are significant artifacts of this building.
भक्तपुरका अन्तिम मल्लराजा रणजीत मल्लले आफ्ना ७ छोराहरुको लागि दरवार वरपर ७ वटा बाहाहरु बनाउने क्रममा भक्तपुर दरवारबाट सवैभन्दा नजिकको दुरीमा बनाएको बाहा खौमा बाहा हो । जुन पछि निजी सम्पत्तिको रुपमा विक्री हुंदा अचेल यसको भित्री स्वरुप पुर्णतया नया भईसकेको छ । बाह्य भागमा रहेको सझ्या तथा काठका अन्य कलात्मक भागहरु तथा भित्रपट्टीका चोक, इनार, धारा, नास द्यःहरु यस बाहाका मुल्यवान सम्पदाहरु हुन् ।
