One among the 99 chowks of Taleju premises, Jaldroni Chowk is known as Jarhu Chowk in native tongue. Its location is to the east of Malati Chowk and Mahadev Chowk. On its east lies Ganesh Chowk, on north Agam Ghar of Taleju Bhawani and on south Suwal Ghar. Some of the remarkable heritage of this chowk include the scripture of Jaldroni, the Scripture of huge copper pot, the names of the lineage carved in wooden plate and the names of buffaloes.
ऐतिहासिकः एकताका भक्तपुर तलेजु परिसरभित्रका ९९ चोकहरुमा जलद्रोणी चोक पनि एक हो । जलद्रोणीलाई नेपाल भाषामा जन्हुँ भन्ने सन्दर्भमा चोकबाट यो चोक प्रख्यात छ । यो चोक मालती चोक र महादेव चोकको पूर्वतर्फ बसेको छ । यसको पूर्वमा गणेश चोक र उत्तरमा श्री तलेजु भवानीको आगमघर र दक्षिणमा सुवाल घर रहेको छ । यहाँ रहेको जलद्रोणीका अभिलेख, तामाको जसीको अभिलेख, काष्ठको पातामा लेखिएको वंशावलीका नामहरु तथा राँगोका नामहरु यस चोकको महत्वपुर्ण सम्पदाहरु हुन ।
