King Jitamitra Malla is credited for the Golden Spout of Bhaktapur Taleju Premises. The source of this spout was the Mahadev Pond of Nagarkot (Giriraj Hill). Water was drained from there to flow through spout and Goddess Taleju Bhawani used to be given holy bath. This spout is famous for excellent metal art that is carved on it.
भक्तपुर तलेजु भित्रको सुनको धारा बनाउने श्रेय राजा जितामित्र मल्ललाई जान्छ । तलेजु भवानीलाई नित्य स्नान गराउन नगरकोट (गिरीराज पर्वत) को महादेव पोखरी देखि कुलो खनी यो धारा ने.सं. ७९८ मा निर्माण गरेको अभिलेख प्रमाणले पुष्टी गर्छ । उच्च कोटीको धातुकला एवम् प्रस्तर कलाले यस धाराको महत्व प्रशस्त छ ।
