It lies at the center of Dumaju Chowk. It is accessible through the alley on the west of Mool Chowk. The open space around this pond does not give the sense of Chowk at all. However, it used to be a chowk. The dark surrounding along with the centuries old tree of Peepal create a feeling of terror to visitors. The pond is enclosed by a compound wall. The top of the wall consists of stone image of a huge snake all along. The entrance of the pond lies on the north, where a pair of stone lions are fixed. The pond looks like a debris site which need reconstruction.
भक्तपुर तलेजु भित्रको दुमाजु चोकको मध्य भागमा यो पोखरी रहेको छ । मुल चोकबाट पश्चिम तर्फको बाटो लागेपछि दुमाजु चोक पुगिन्छ । चोक भनिएता पनि यहा खुल्ला रुपमा रहेको पोखरी तथा वरपरको वातावरणले चोकको कुनै संकेत दिंदैन । अझ पोखरी र त्यसको डिलको सयौं वर्ष पुरानो वरपिपलको रुखले यो ठाउ डरलाग्दो देखिन्छ । पोखरीको चारैतिर पर्खाल लगाएको छ । पर्खाल माथि सर्पनागको शरिरको ढु·ाको आकृति देख्न सकिन्छ । पोखरी पस्ने द्धार उत्तर तर्फ छ जहा सिंढी माथि सिंहको एकजोडी प्रस्तरको मुर्ति थियो । पोखरी भग्नावशेष हुने क्रममा सवै यत्रतत्र लागेको छ ।
