It is a heritage located in the Tachapal. Dattatraya refers to the combined deity of lords Bramha, Bishnu and Maheshwor. The temple was reconstructed using calcium powder and brick powder after it was damaged in the earthquake of 1990 BS.
भक्तपुर दरवार क्षेत्रको माथिलो लायकुको एक सम्पदा हो दत्तात्रय मन्दिर । ब्रम्हा विष्णु महेश्वरको संयुक्त रुपमा दत्तात्रय देवता स्थापना गरी राजा यक्ष्य मल्लले गरेको त्यहा स्थित अभिलेखले पुष्टि गर्छ । वि.सं. १९९० सालको भूकम्पबाट क्षति पुगेपछि चुना सुर्खीले प्लास्टर गरी हालको शैलीमा पुनः निर्माण भएको देखिन्छ ।
