Historical Significance: The garden that locates the golden spout within the Thanthu Palace premises in Bhaktapur Municipality is the then Dathu Chowk. It was constructed during the same period when King Jita Mitra Malla’s Thanthu Palace was constructed. This chowk does not exist today.
भक्तपुर नगरपालिकामा रहेको थन्थु दरवार परिसर भित्रबाट लुंँहिटी बस्ने बगैंचा नै एकताकाको दथु चोक हो । जसको निर्माण ने.सं. ७९८ मा तत्कालीन राजा जितामित्र मल्लको थन्थु दरवार निमाणर््ा गरेको समयमा नै बनेको थियो । हाल यो चोकको अस्तित्व छैन ।
