Yomari is a traditional steamed rice-flour dumpling and a iconic delicacy of the Newar community in Nepal. The name literally translates to "tasty bread" (from Nepal Bhasa: ya meaning "to like" and mari meaning "delicacy"). Yomari is far more than just "tasty bread"; it is a cultural artifact that embodies the history, spiritual beliefs, and agricultural lifestyle of the Newar people in the Kathmandu Valley.
योमरी एक परम्परागत उमालेको चामलको पिठोको डम्प्लिङ हो र नेपालको नेवार समुदायको एक प्रतिष्ठित स्वादिष्टता हो। यो नामको शाब्दिक अर्थ "स्वादिष्ट रोटी" हो (नेपाल भाषाबाट: या को अर्थ "मन पराउनु" र मारी को अर्थ "स्वादिष्ट")। योमरी केवल "स्वादिष्ट रोटी" भन्दा धेरै बढी हो; यो एक सांस्कृतिक कलाकृति हो जसले काठमाडौं उपत्यकाका नेवार मानिसहरूको इतिहास, आध्यात्मिक विश्वास र कृषि जीवनशैलीलाई मूर्त रूप दिन्छ।
